Edition Variety publiceras topp 50 actionfilmer genom tiderna. I första hand placerade redaktionen filmen "Mad Max - 2: Road Warrior" med Mel Gibson i titelrollen. Silver gick till den dynamiska "Die Hard" med Bruce Willis. Topp tre stängdes av Alfred Hitchcocks målning "North by Northwest".
